Sounds From A Bygone Age Rar: The Ultimate Collection of Wedding Music from Romania

Amidst destruction on the mainland, the two locomotives Minør and Pionér transported wagons full of rock and gravel to the Icelandic seaside during the construction of the Reykjavík harbour in 1913-1917. The two metallic giants ushered in a new age in Iceland. However, soon after construction ceased the two trains were parked and have never driven since. Now they only serve to remind us of the grandeur of a bygone future. They are the only trains ever to have graced the Icelandic landscape.

As an actual Cassie (& not an ot5 with a stick up their *** like some people from Chicago in this thread) I think I speak for pretty much everyone when I say no one cares you picked/put down a different date than their debut. Keep on keeping on, your TVXQ reviews have always been top tier.

This dates from 2021, and it involved Hifi Sean getting his hands on a tape of a version of a track that had been recorded and released by Fire Island (English house music duo, Pete Heller and Terry Farley) in 1998.

The first post-LP single arrived in October 84 and almost 35 (!!!!!!) years on still sounds fresh, energetic and timeless. The use of strings was yet another new development for the group and the vocal interplay between Paul and DC Lee is quite superb.

This sort of keeps the singles run going as this track, from the second album, Our Favourite Shop, was issued as a 45 in some countries outside of the UK, and indeed charted in Australia and New Zealand.

It was a hit in the clubs and of course there were still TSC fans who would buy the records, all of which helped it reach #27 in the singles chart and an appearance on Top of The Pops. The b-side and the alternative mixes are totally different from anything else that has appeared beforehand in this series:-

It was at this point I turned my back on TSC, and indeed the remainder of the singles that will feature in this series have only been picked up over the past few years since I started up the blog and re-kindled an interest in vinyl. As such, they will be viewed from a 21st century perspective rather than from the late 80s.

The second album from The Style Council had been released to a fair amount of critical acclaim in May 1985. Our Favourite Shop also proved popular with the record buying public and in fact reached the #1 spot, albeit for one week only. It was an incredibly diverse LP in terms of sound with elements of pop, soul, funk, rap, jazz and the spoken word all to the fore at various times. The credits for the record show that in addition the regular four Councillors, there were three other guest vocalists (including the comedian Lenny Henry) with eighteen other musicians receiving one or more performance credits.

The fifth single, released in February 1984, was the first to feature the drumming talents of Steve White who at the time was just 18 years of age and whose more gentle, jazz influenced style was quite different from that of Zeke Manyika who had played on each of the previous singles.

So what is Lost Tapes Vol 1? It's a long lost stash of classic soul and funk music from the 60s and 70s......digitized forever so that those of us that love the vintage funk and soul can feed our samplers forever and...

Following his breakout LP Shadows on the Sun, Brother Ali used the 8 songs of the Champion EP to release a focused blast of style and viewpoint, weaving battle rhymes, introspection, and clever songwriting over a set of deeply soulful cuts from steady collaborator Ant. Though light on length, Champion never skimps on content, displaying Ali at his fiery, insightful peak, delivering observations about his surroundings and his past with equal urgency.

This slept-on Chicago trio had something special with their debut. Denizen Kane and Qwazaar both held their own and stole the show at points, but it was Qwel who really provided the spark that made this album next level. The album is laced with jazzy production from DJ Natural and an always sharp and poetic take on the backpacks, graf, train rides, cyphers, and everything that this underground crew lived and loved. Unlike some group albums that sound like three separate artists pasting verses together, these guys seemed to all be on the same exact page.

As mentioned at the top of the article, complementary color schemes include tones that are opposite from one another on the color wheel. Some complements include red and green, blue and orange, and yellow and purple.

Texas is without doubt one of the quintessential musical melting pots of the US, and whilst Mississippi receives most of the credit for creating the blues, Texas is where many of the earliest blues pioneers lived and played. Although equally poignant and direct as the Delta style, the Texas blues was fundamentally less raw and rudimentary with guitarists typically incorporating more sophisticated and varied guitar accompaniments from verse to verse. 2ff7e9595c
